Goldie Lookin’ Chain star P Xain has accused Lily Allen of courting the press as she promotes her return to music.

The group’s main writer - real name Rhys Hutchings - admitted that he is unimpressed by Allen’s attempts to publicise her new single ‘The Fear’ and forthcoming second album It’s Not Me, It’s You.

“Lily Allen is thick as pig s**t. She’ll say anything to get in the news,” Hutchings told the Daily Star. “The worst thing is she has so little substance to what she says that people pick up on things like: ‘Oh, I did cocaine’.

“Any time she says anything controversial it ends up on the front of the paper.”

‘The Fear’ is expected to top the UK singles chart tomorrow.
